Exactly Was just gonna post something similar.

I hope Ndiaye can spring the suprise. I like him very much, and he should be undefeated according to some.

They're decent, but steps down from the likes of Groves & The Wolf.

Zuniga went life and death with fellow ancient puncher Berrio.

Ndiaye's biggest step up to date was against countryman Di Luisa.

DeGale shouldn't lose to either.

The only impressive thing about it is the short layoff.

Yeah, i forgot, but then again, fellow prospect Oosthuizen couldnt stop him

Ndiayes biggest step-up was Mock, and while that fight was a bit to early for me, I have heard many people in the Danish boxing community saying that Ndiaye should have won.

Ah true; forgot about him and Mock. That would probably rate as a higher W than Di Luisa had he got it. Still, Lolenga was 36 and had been around the block - so having a close contest with him doesn't exactly suggest being competitive with a prime JDG.

Well, Mock went on to be lose competively to Campillo the fight after

Bur DeGale is of course the favorite for both fights by quite a stretch.

Hmm, Campillo, that reminds me: What is the name of that Spanish trainer, that seems to train every Spaniard worth a damm?

Shoty, muscular guy with tats and a ponytail?

Cotto hasn't seen a lot of southpaws, but he's done well against them when he has.

Let's throw away Pacquiao, whom Trout doesn't resemble in the least bit stylistically.

Judah, Quintana, and Chop-Chop are all vaguely close (at least relative to Pacquiao) to looks he'll get from Trout.

I think Trout has entered his prime but still isn't on par with a 2007 Judah. Hell, I'm not sure he's better than an unbeaten Quintana or that version of Corley.

In all of Trout's best performances, he's been able to frustrate and annoy slower opponents with his right jab. Guys like D-Rod, Destroyer, and Rigo lack the dimensionality to do anything but plod into it repeatedly and perhaps become hesitant as a result (and wary of the infrequent but very fast left cross). I see Cotto being able to bob and weave through it, and not be deterred if he eats a couple so long as the end result is him getting to rip a few left hooks to Trout's body.

Trout is a legit super welter, and fairly strong, but I don't see him keeping Cotto at bay all night. (and certainly not walking him down)

Cotto on the frontfoot, slipping or ignoring the southpaw jab, has a great chance of felling some timber - or at the very least scaring the daylights out of Trout and forcing him into a pattern too negative to merit awarding points.

Cotto UD or late TKO.

Trout hasn't faced anyone as good as Cotto. Cotto's experience, in my opinion, will be the key to the fight. But expect Trout to adjust, he's a smart fighter, but I don't think his adjustments will be enough.
