It was fun guys. Although. You all shouldh've fought each other.
Pac would murder Rios but true the era is ending. Let's hope we get Pac vs. May to end it with a bang. Maybe Floyd can make up for the complete lack of courage he's shown through this era.

direll isn't really from that era, froch wasn't at the top during this era but was fighting, ward certainly isn't from this era as well

out of that new generation, I already have ward and donaire as having potential to crack the ATG list. Donaire more so because of the number of opportunities and names to be fought near his weight class

Great thread.

I am actually upset about the passing of this generation.

We have great fighters, but I'm not sure if they're ever going to be as good as our previous generation.

I fear for boxing in 10-15 years time. The amateur programmes apparently are pretty weak.

I'll be glad when Floyd has retired as I cannot stand him inside or outside the ring. And I'll also be glad when Pac has gone so we don't have to listen to the Pac/Floyd bullshit ever again.

Garcia and Rios will be the "fight of the year when it happens".

Looking forward to seeing how the career of "The Ghost" pans out over the next 18 months.

I've got zero interest in "Canelo".

GGG will be the man that appeals to the average KO fan.

Ward will reign supreme and become Boxing's P4 NO.1

Gamboa has the potential to do massive things.

Who would Donaire have to beat to make the ATG list for you?

For me, Mares, Rigondeaux, move up in weight to beat Salido, and Chris John or Gamboa.

I'd put him in my top 10 if he beats ALL of them.

Pretty much curtains for the heroes that we've grown to watch. One by one they look like more and more faded.

Still pissed that Floyd and Pac never fought each other when they should've to determine the top dog of this bunch.

I agree we're in a time of transition and the torch is being passed in a lot of divisions at the moment. Nothing to worry about though, there's plenty of good talents coming up. Ward is almost a lock future ATG and Alvarez ain't too shabby either.
