Did you also bet the exact opposite of Price vs Skelton going under 1-6 rounds (4/9 when i put it up) and Fury beating Johnson by decision (4/7 when I put it up)? Because if that was you, thanks for the money!

There's a big difference.
Cotto is past his prime, maybe borderline washed up. Hatton is SHOT TO SHIT! Plus...... Cotto is just a higher level fighter than Hatton, and always was. Cotto destroys Hatton within 3 if they fought right now. If Hatton can't take a body shot from Senchenko, I don't think I have to draw you a picture of what Cotto's hook to the body would do to him. |

Cotto got well beat by Pac over 11.5 rounds, but Hatton got destroyed early by Pac. That's how they did against elite. At least Cotto lasted long enough to take a proper beating. Cotto destroys any version of Hatton, brutal KO. |

I don't rate Hatton too highly, but he's a touch underrated and Cotto massivley overrated imo. Hatton was less effective at 147 and peoples perception of him is affected by it. Cotto at 140 was a beast, with shaky whiskers, Hatton at 140 was a beast with a little less punching power. It's a toss up imo Anyone who really thinks the Hatton from the Kostya Tzsyu fight stands NO chance against 140lb cotto is crazy imo |

If prime cotto is planning on going toe to toe with prime hatton, good luck to him. I'm not saying Hatton wins but he certainly will have a chance to land huge flush hooks to the body. The kind that stopped castillo. Cotto will have his moments too though but it's not a foregone conclusion either way

Cotto often gets very disorganised under pressure, of which Prime Hatton will be bringing a lot of. It's like I say Ricky was hurt by the way his career was managed. Held back until slightly past prime. Went to 147 where he was too small and put in with the messy, tough Castillo and beastly Urango who negated his abilities If we are talking absoloute prime I think Hatton could pull it off at 140, although i know we will be in the minority on that |

Let's have a bit of balance here lads, yes I also agree Cotto would beat Hatton prime for prime but let's not act like it's a totally ridiculous suggestion that Hatton could of won.
Hatton (like it or not) was an elite fighter in his prime too, Yes Cotto would of probably beaten him but let's not act like he was a fucking bum for fucksake. the Ricky Hatton in the ring last week was not the prime Ricky Hatton was it. |
