Default Alvarez just slighly below Mayweather?

41-0 (30 KO) vs 43-0 (26 KO)

UD Mosley 2012 vs UD Mosley 2010
KO Baldomir 2010 vs UD Baldomir 2006
TKO Gomez/Cintron vs TKO Ortiz/UD Marquez
TKO Miguel Cotto vs UD Miguel Cotto
UD Hatton vs TKO Hatton

if they meet it would be 50/50 fight

We need Sven Ottke to come out of retirement and break the log jam.

lol THANK YOU OP!

Canelo is not good enough for Mayweather! Even IF he beats Trout.

Canelo should beat Trout, Martinez and Ortiz at 154 before being eligible to face Mayweather.

Trout beat Cotto in a similar fashion. Canelo beating Trout should be enough to get a fight with Floyd.

Floyd got maybe 2 more years before every elite fighter will give him problems.

Floyd didn't look that great against a washed up Cotto. Canelo's youth/skills would be too much for a 35 almost 36 year old Mayweather to handle. Floyd wouldn't fight a young gun like Canelo, too risky.. Maybe we'll see him take on Paulie Malignaggi next or something

I know this thread was intended to be a joke, but I really do think that TODAY Canelo would be too much for Mayweather to handle.

wow dude, YDKS, Canelo isn't going to pressure Mayweather in his chest like Cotto did. He'll fight at mid range and get countered like a bitch.
