Maloney is chatting shit. Like after the Harrison fight he was talking about making the Fury fight even though the Skelton fight was set. And the way they were talking about the Tony Thompson fight suggests that was a done deal before Saturday as well.
I'm sure the amount Maloney owes Brian Rose is a lot less than 650k. If you've got that kind of money then pay the fighters what you owe them first before bragging about making massive offers to Mick Hennessy and Tyson Fury. |

It wouldn't surprise me if the Flintoff fight brought in a decent number of new subscribers.
IMO Fury will never fight on Boxnation whilst he has the C5 contract. Why would he? Unless he is offered silly money. There's talk that the 650k was the figure to be split between the two as well. Its best for both that the fight be on C5. Why not take 50/50, joint promotion on C5? Or would Mick want more for having the C5 contract? |

Mick is exactly right to ridicule Mismatch and his £650k offer.
I mean.... how many fighters worldwide, that aren't controlled by Al Haymon, are making $1m per fight? Five perhaps - Pacquiao, Cotto, Marquez and the Klitschkos. Like Lilo said, why not split it right down the middle, live on terrestrial TV - would be absolutely huge for Channel 5. |
