PDL look like an improved fighter against Gonzalez. I agree Bronx, Velez is getting thrown in too early with PDL. Good thing he got a his win against Sanchez II and felt he did something important for el Boxeo Boricua as he avenged the loss of Wilfredo Gomez. Know what I mean?

He is too experienced and unconventional.

I did not like that comment by Velez personally i thought it was in bad taste

Gomez gained respect for the late great Salvador Sanchez after loosing the fight and Sanchez is dead for gods sakes, it's been 31 years.

I agree with everything you said here Bronx. I'll excuse Velez for his comment, he's young and is trying to generate some hype for his next MEX vs PR fight, is desperate in reviving el Boxeo Boricua, and might of felt pressured by Sanchez II bring out his uncles wardrobe for the fight ( which I felt was more disrespectful than the comment by Velez).

Agree on most part. PDL would and is too much for Velez, especially in experience; and though if by some horror they get matched up and by a miracle Velez wins then we may as well slap him a 'champ' sticker.
