It does make you wonder.

They're having this fight at some run of the mill 5000 seat arena, if they'd have come over here they could have sold out the Motorpoint Arena in Sheffield which is almost 3 times as big, made tonnes more money and generated more interest. A world title fight for in the UK is always all over the newspapers and you see loads of adverts on the telly. Sky Sports really know how to promote fights, especially world title ones. All Alexander had to do was grow a pair and both he and Brook could have done very well with this.

This event will barely even be get a mention in the L.A. press.

As long as it's scored fairly I honestly don't give a shit where they put it on.

L.A? I can understand a 5k seater in Vegas or NY, even 2k for them from Brooks personal point of view, but L.A? Fucking stupid. Guaranteed home cooking.

If it was in the UK it'd at least be on at a respectable hour.

Tbf i wudnt come to england to defend my title if i was a yank. Especially with all the brit stoppages, direll type decisions etc. Besides if eddie really wanted to bring it here he would have just bidded on it.

"Grow a pair" said the fan online to a professional fighter.

Showtime will be able to put up the money to make it a richer fight in the US.

I would not even be remotely surprised if this fight fell through.

From personal experience, I beg to differ (Bruno/Witherspoon and Lewis/Ruddock).
