Bowie Tupou will fight Bryant Jennings on December 8 in Philadelphia. Tupou is coming off a recent TKO loss against Malik Scott.
Looks like Bowie Tupou has grabbed the opportunity that Mark de Mori missed. Last edited by The Spider; 12-09-2012 at 12:40 AM. |

Jennings needs to start knocking people out if he is going to considered a 'big thing' in the HW divison.
People watch HW boxing for KO's and power, if you want fights that go the distance you should be watching the less significant divisions. |

![]() Some of the greatest contests between the greatest heavyweights in the history of the sport went the distance. Suggest you start with these two >>> Holyfield vs Bowe: 30 round trilogy with 2 of the 3 fights going the distance. Ali vs Frazier: 41 round trilogy with 2 of 3 fights going the distance and containing no knockout. Knockouts are great. But the most important thing is fighting against well matched opponents and WINNING! |

No research required to comment on here, otherwise I wouldn't fit in.
Surely you can't argue that most people watch HW boxing are expecting KO's? Surely. |

![]() You don't need to have a Tyson-like KO% to be considered a big thing. Just as examples, Holyfield's KO% was 50% and Ali's was 60%. Knockouts are great. But you don't have to comatose the best in the division. You just have to beat them. |

Bryant Jennings has been active fighting 5 times this year by promoter Main Events, with 4 of these being on cable TV network NBC Sports.
He has looked impressive IMO & far from boring in his outings this year. I expect some interesting potential matchups in 2013 for Jennings with the likes of Deontay Wilder on the horizon. |

many people watch heavies to see big ko's. they don't care too much about the style, they just like to see 2 big units bash each other. they know both r probably not as fit as they could be too. |
