Good. Canelo is starting to get some of us nationals unhappy about his opponent selections lately. Do I think he is ready to take on the Martinez, PBFs and Cottos of the world? No but he picked up that damn belt. Now he has to put up.
Trout I am not so worried about as he is not that hard to find and he is not a heavy puncher so Canelo wont get a career changing beating like Tito gave to Vargas. I actually see the chance of a stoppage as a high possibility. Trout was terrified of Drods power and Canelo only punches harder. Cotto found Trout too often and at some points in the 5th and 6th round I actually felt Cotto could stop him. |
