and the point of throwing a medicine ball is to develop power obviously. He does the little hop step before he throws the ball to transfer more energy which is a form of plyometrics.

you think idk what I'm talking about? I had a 34 inch vertical at my peak and I can still grab the rim of a basketball goal while only beng 5'7.

For someone with great footwork inside the ring, Marquez has some shitty coordination with those drills. Those drills are most likely new to him.
They're both taking it easy this close to fight night, but it's obvious Marquez has always needed more modern drills and methods.
