MAN, tha way he fought against Pacquiao leaves a sour taste in my mouth. Anyone else feel the.same?? Pacquiao steamrolled MAB, then in the rematch Barrera mostly ran, fought scared and looked to just show up for a payday. SureLy ATG with wins over Hamed, Morales 2x, 3 division champ, just thought he had a REAL bad showing that fight. Shoulda went out guns blazing. JMM/MORALES both hold wins over Pac, while MAB was not competitive, I feel Morales/JMM on another level than Barrera

Barrera 115-112 2nd fight.
![]() Just kidding but seriously that happens to some great fighters I don't see that as a knock against his career as a whole. Many great fighters were steamrolled in one or two fights sometimes they have a bad night or a fighter has their number. |

by the time the second fight came off, he was past his best even more. the fact that he lasted all twelve rounds while giving a respectable account of himself speaks volumes about him. had the fight of come off while barrera was prime, he'd of bust up that version of pac real good. but by the time it did take place barrera had clearly lost his fire. MAB was a great fighter. |

Morales is the Better man and that shouldnt even be question.. Erik went literally ALL OUT against Pacquiao, knew he had no chance in the rubber match and figures: "fuck it my best chance is when im healthy and thats obviously early on" and went in fucken rambo mode, a few times he even got the best of pac during that encounter, Barrera however had no problem being carried..it was such a Cowardly move by Barrera , showed up for a pay cheque and that was it... absolutely disgraceful...

Absolutely not, in the rematch Barrera was stepping into his jab while circling and fought a much more responsible fight. In no way was he running. He just didn't integrate his right hand offensively well enough into his defense to secure the rounds and ended up losing a respectable decision.

Mab is awesome. He was considered over the hill in the first Morales fight. Over the hill in the Hamed fight. Over the hill in the 3rd Morales fight. Held his own and knocked down Marquez.
My favorite moment was holding 2 fingers infront of Morales after beating him. |
