At MSG. Although 17 March 2013 is a Sunday.
v Arreola, Stiverne, Adamek or Briggs. Please not Briggs. No idea why he is even in the mix. Dont know much about Stiverne except he is due to face Arreola in the other WBC eliminator. Adamek or Arreola would be ideal opponents to see where Fury is at I reckon? This is from Peter Fury on Twitter. |

Hopefully Arreola or Adamek, would put him firmly in the mix of having a good enough CV to fight for a world title, but it seems there trying to get themselves in to ranked 1 or 2 and hoping Vitali vacates then they will fight for the vacant title

Good news for Fury if it actually happens.
Arreola-Stiverne is on 26th Jan, it seems unlikely either of them will fight again 7 weeks later. Adamek would be fun & guarantee a good crowd but he's involved in an IBF eliminator next, I'd be surprised if he takes the fight. Chances are it will be Grant, Briggs or another American of similar status. Chambers would be an interesting opponent. |

Hope it's Arreola or Adamek, but it probably will be Briggs
Stiverne would be a funny fight imo... Fury has developed a decent jab, so he will look like Larry Holmes against Bermane. Only it could end suddenly too. |

Was he not meant to do that last year as well and it never happend. Him against briggs would be entertaining for the buil up then an easy enough nights work for fury. Adamek would be a decent test and a chance to see how good fury's jab is if he can keep adamek off him.

Totally makes sense from a promotional point of view. The Yanks have no real contenders so why not build a following overthere with the Irish angle while he builds his reputation before going for the Ks/title. The Yanks will love/love to hate him and I think he could pull some numbers over there if the groundwork is done.
I think if the K's are going to try and come to the party sooner rather than later for both Fury and Price. Another year to eighteen months and they know there more likely to come unstuck against these two. |
