![]() Floyd's been in what I consider "trouble" only twice in his career. Once against Mosley and once against Corley. In both instances, he came back strong and won the end of the very same round he was hurt in. That is it. I guess you can argue a third when he busted his hands in the Carlos Hernandez fight and took a knee. You do realize Mayweather has never been officially knocked down by a punch in his entire career right? Yea, he's been hurt so many times........ Please feel free to expound on the bolded comment and describe to us the "many times" Mayweather has been hurt in a fight. For somebody who has been "hurt many times" as you say, I am not seeing the knockdowns or KO losses that generally follow a boxer who is being "hurt many times." |

The only fighter, of this era, that comes to mind with a superior resume is Hopkins. |

![]() As I said in other posts, Floyd (for some reason) gets all the blame for the fight not happening. Pac didn't want to take blood tests. There's literally zero excuse for that, zero. Then he needs nine months for a cut to heal, then he wants an outdoor stadium... I mean wtf? If Pac wanted to fight Floyd as badly as he claimed, he could've done two things: 1. Refuse to fight anyone else except Floyd 2. Not resign with Top Rank. Notice how Cotto's first fight after Top Rank was Floyd? Interesting "coincidence" Pac never wanted the fight. Quote:

Sometimes I really wonder how long these people have been watching boxing. Mayweather had been calling out Mosley and DLH since his early career. Fact, HBO (Lampley, Merchant, Jones Jr.) laughed at the idea of Floyd challenging Shane or Oscar back when he was a lightweight. And now people are saying Mayweather waited? Please.... And Floyd was calling them out AT WELTERWEIGHT back then as well. (Willing to jump 2 weight classes. Just a side note for you idiot Pactards) He knew he could take those guys, way back then. And THEY KNEW IT TOO. That's why Mayweather didn't fight Mosley and Oscar in their "prime." Mayweather was much too dangerous of a fight for them. High Risk, Low Reward. |
