No. He chose to fight as an Irishman, as evident when he dropped the British belts and fought and won the Irish title. Its also why he is fighting on St.Patricks day.

Pretty sure Furys Grandparents came over from The South too. Although being ab traveller, by their very nature they travel back and forth from Ireland a lot. Hes Andy Lees first cousin by the way. I see no problem with him considering himself Irish and British just like Macklin does. De La Hoya made a career out of playing to the Mexican audience even though he himself was born, reared and won a Gold medal in the olympics for America. |

Gonna be Briggs ain't it. Another experienced guy who has fought at the highest level so could cause him problems though I very much doubt it, way past prime. Would quite like to see him against someone like Adamek.

Stiverne - fighting Arreola Adamek - fighting USS in IBF eliminator and Pulev if he wins Banks - fighting Mitchell due to rematch clause wtf is with Fury calling people out who are already fighting, injured, or have no team and claiming they're ducking him. Even worse what is with the morons who actually believe this clown? |

Also Dino, the fact that he fought for and held the British titles suggests he himself feels he is at some level British |

Anyone who understands the sport of boxing, can see that Fury is complete garbage and will never hold any European or World belt. He is a solid fighter at domestic level. The very same goes for David Price

I remember hearing the same shit about Vitali when he turned pro. "Too robotic", "not a boxer", "will get clowned by any decent technician" etc. etc. |

Tyson Fury should be extremely grateful if he gets a title shot, because he fights nobodies. But he'll perhaps get a shot because of the lack of competition. And I dont see Fury (nor Price) winning by a lucky shot: they have no power first and second you cant count on one lucky shot, the champ comes prepared....

Infact if either were to beat Wlad via a "lucky punch" it would be David,he'd knock his block off. (I'd like to add however,Wlad brutally ko's the pair of them). But to say Price doesn't have the power ... To be fair Fury probably does aswell. |
