whys loads of people knocking him ? Fury gives an afternoon up to help raise a few quid for a fella dying of cancer and gets slated, what's he gotta do? Cure the fella? He was brilliant with the fans and kids there, a proper gent, signed every autograph request and did every pic he was asked to do. A mention has to go to Howard Clarke who attended despite not being in brilliant health.

Some people are just horrible bitter cunts mate. The only people that really seem to have a genuine dislike for the lad are Price fans ... Price could sing at a fundraiser with all the charisma of a short circuiting robot and his nuthugging fanbase would be frothing at the gash.Tyson actually gives it a good ****ing go and he gets the piss ripped out of him.

Absolutely agree with you mate.

Whats wrong with him?

Jesus that is terrible.

I wonder why the BBBoC still gave him a license despite not winning for years and being stopped repeatedly.

Shocking news, and so sad.

I really didn't know that, don't know how I missed it.

I liked the fella, bit of a character; he had that really big fight against one of the P4P's didn't he, who was it?

Have they linked the disease to his boxing at all?

How old is he? Must only be early forties at the most.

Very sad

EDIT: Just found this:

It has answers to many of my questions, sad reading.

Made a thread on it few years back about a fundraising night, didn't get many replies tbh..

Horrible really is espicially when he claims he only earned £500 for some fights..

Looks like they can't rule out boxing as the cause.

Fury is great for the sport. I've always watched the big fights Hatton, Calzaghe and other high profile until I caught the ITV4 documentary on him (where he claimed he didn't get selected for the Olympics because he was a traveller, he'd had one pro fight). I was captivated by him due to being a 6'9 traveller and ended up putting a bet on him to win a world title (I got 16-1 by the end of 2013). Since then I've seen every one of his fights and as a result have followed many other fighters, nowadays I'll watch any boxing on TV and even started boxing sparring a little. So for me at least he's massively raised the profile of the sport.
