Just got my first fight booked January 25th...at heavyweight my opponents a judo guy apparently he's 1-1 33 years old. Can't wait!!!
It's amateur so no elbows which sucks for me as a wrestler. No knees to head either though so that's probably a plus |

I come from a wrestling background but trained at sort of a karate/muay thai hybrid style gym over the summer so have some striking and have boxed in a few backyard boxing matches
Been grappling consistently for a little bit now, haven't done any real striking since the summer though so its good i have some time to work on it before fight time. Anyone else here have any fights, amateur or professional..any stories? |

Don't waste your energy. Take it easy the first round, feel your opponent out and believe me your training will naturally tell you what to do and when.
Experience: 20 ameteur boxing fights. I am also training to fight in MMA currently at 185 lbs. |
