You sound as cynical as me Icemax.Weve recently seen this happen to a coming show, one of the fights was a terrific one in prospect and said at the time couldnt see it happening, and it isnt.Been happening for years, this. The only thing I cant see is Towers stepping in,but Sprott, definitely.Hope were wrong,David needs the step up now.

stiverne is garbage. He was getting out boxed by Ray Austin until he KO'd him in the 10th. He gets stopped inside 4 by Arreola, and Fury would have no problem at all beating Stiverne... Pretty sure he'd beat Arreola as well, but at least Chris has a shot...

Adamek has a fan base in NYC and stylistically suits Fury while being quite an accomplished and respected boxer. He'd be the perfect opponent if he gets past Cunningham.

Cunningham Adamek is an IBF eliminator so Adamek's not going to be taking on Fury. He might be fighting Pulev for the IBF mandatory after that although Pulev might already have that.

Fury is British.
Not sure why Irish people would want to claim him. He was quite happy being British champion until they told him his mandatory challenger was David Price. He's no more Irish than I am - and my only claim is that my great grandfather's parents were both Irish. Oh, and I was quite good at Gaelic football as a kid. No self-respecting Irishman (whether he's a Fra-esque ''execute all Brits immediately'' retard or a more sensible one) would want to be either English or British champion. Makes no sense. I had this discussion on the Irish boxing page on FB. One Irishman said ''if he wants to be Irish, he can be Irish'', another laughed him off the page and basically said what I've said above. |
