Not interesting. Reid was not that good, and his two claims to a bit of fame is losing to a calzaghe who fought with one hand, and being in an even fight with Ottke (who was heavily supported by the referee).
Ottke was not very good, and neither was Reid. So no big surprise that they would have an even fight. But of course appalling that the referee was partial... he should have never been allowed in the ring again. |

The problem is not that Ottke won. There could be made a case for that.
The problem is that the referee was horribly biased and making it difficult for Reid to win. The same more or less by the way happened to Reid when he fought Lacy years later. But then again Reid was never really that good. |
