I would say quite a bit more than that. The last one was 3 mill peak. And not many of the general public knew much about either.

This thread has turned into a discussion about masturbation.

I'm not complaining.

Solid numbers. Over a million each time and extra interest in bigger fights like Fury Chisora.

Not bad figures, hopefully even more shows next year - need to build an audience if boxing wants to break out of the niche market.

Interesting that deGale said he's having 6 fights next year.

Chisora did nothing to sell the Fury fight. That was all down to Fury. David Haye sells the shit out of everything and is very good at it.

Considering Haye managed close on 1m ppv sales for Valuev and his stock is higher now I think some of the guesstimates are a little on the conservative side.

could channel 5 (or hennessy) add another decent british 'name' to their stable? would give the like sof eubank even more exposure and could even put fury, new guy and degale on same bill, or have 2 combinations of the 3. who could be a potential coup for them? mitchell?
obviously c5 going head to head with sky would have had a slight negative influence on last nights views. i would imagine most who have sky would have watched that card over it. also a minority could have watched the earthquake in essex from 5.30 and continued watching that til the end (as it gets to its main event) - especially those from that area. still, decent figures and it would be class if they had 10 or so shows next year as well. quite like the boxing on c5

Would be amazing if Fury could get a Klitschko on Channel 5!

When was the last time a World Heavyweight title was shown on terrestrial?

A million views for degale is fantastic.

Has there been any interviews with any of the bods who run boxing at c5? Id like to get their view on it.
