Some of the gimps on this site need to give their head a wobble. Its a shame people are quick to lap up an ATG getting laid out, just because they want a brief hiatus of oneupmanship.
When him Floyd and Marquez are gone the boxing world will have a tremendous void to fill. Pacquiao transcended the sport for a good few years, he will be missed. Happy for JMM though. ![]()

it's amazing when you think about in just a few short weeks this truly is the end of an era. hatton was koed. miguel cotto lost pretty bad. and pacquaio was koed. erick morales by koed. we have truly ushered in a new era in boxing. we truly are in the next decade of a new millenium. juan and floyd stick around long enough they will get there's too. and then i'll truly feel old.

ward will be around for a long time. he's not a atheletic freak like tyson, pacquiao, and roy jones. he relies more on intelligence fundamentals and boxing skills. those other fighters rely on speed athleticsm reflex don't stay around very long since that's one of the first to go when they get older.

Nah, he'll be back he said it, and arum said it as well. ROach wants a rematch after a soft touch.
Also this era is alive and kicking, Mayweather and Marquez are still the 2 best PfP fighter alive. |

Cry me a river. It's boxing, man. People get KOed. Love AND hate is part of the sport. There's no better feeling than seeing the guy you dislike get KOed. I don't wish harm upon any boxer. It's just entertainment. Besides, the taunting/teasing is about fans dissing each other as opposed to ridiculing the actual fighters. Nobody truly hates a boxer or at least I don't. And if you're a true boxing fan, there's NEVER an ending. You move on to the next story after you finish reading one book. Pac and Floyd will be replaced, just like Leonard and Tyson was replaced. The only ones who cry about the "ending" of an era are groupies who are obsessed over certain fighters, and not the actual sport of boxing.
