It's a good win because Mayweather came back after a fifteen month layoff and displayed much of the speed and skill against an opponent who should have been able to have a few moments of success against him, given his technical acumen and accuracy. The fact that JMM couldn't win a single round, and could barely land a meaningful punch is an indicator of how good a boxer FMJ really is.

But it's not a great win, because it was JMM's first foray into the WW division, and because of the whole fiasco that took place at the scales.

So Mayweather deserves credit...Just not as much as he would have received under different circumstances.

It's never been about ¨2 pounds over¨, it's about Mayweather sitting on his ass, while Marquez had to kill himself to make weight for the first time and was unable to focus on training, and then fought in the worst shape of his life against a naturally much bigger guy who ALSO cheated him on the scales.

(Cheating Marquez on the scales was just the icing on the cake for that disgraceful cherrypicking act)

That bloated, sluggish version of Marquez was the worst we have EVER seen and Floyd gets zero credit or respect for that
