Kessler McGee UK Commentary Just Pathetic

Just watched that embarrassment to boxing that was the Kessler / McGee fight. The fight in itself was utterly pointless but what really winds me up is the British Commentary.

How can anyone take the sport seriously when the commentators say about this fight:

"Kessler has sent shock waves through the boxing world tonight"..seriously?? By beating a 37 year old washed up nobody??

"McGee is a boxing legend"...really?? Honestly I never heard of him until I saw the video on You tube.

Its like if they say it in an excited and husky voice then it must be an exciting fight..pathetic.

Give me Larry Merchant and HBO any day...

Mate they have to talk it up, it was a world title fight being shown at prime time on their TV channel and Magee was a british world champion, even if he was a paper version!

I miss RTE commentary. "This man's father was a wheat farmer from Kildare and his grandfather worked in the coal mines. He has a lot of feckles and his brother once tipped a cow". Fucking Bernard Dunne taking RTE with him when he left.

no you honestly couldn't

the man was in with Bute not too long ago and won a lot of fans there, was also in with Froch, he was also a paper belt holder, it's not like he just came back from an 8 year retirement after a career fighting nobody. lets not forget he went into this fight as the Dane Killer and "the most hated man in Denmark"
