I lost interest after cotto lost, Alvarez vs Kirkland or a tuned Anglo has my interest. In fact!!!! I remember there was bad blood vs Marquez n Alvarez, as crazy as it sounded when ODLH offered Marquez a Alvarez fight at the time had he stayed with golden boy it note sounds interesting, sort of like when PAC Oscar was first announced.

Cotto isnt willing to go to welterweight to fight, and Marquez weighed in at 143 against Pac.
Fights not happening. Wouldnt be a bad one though if Cotto had the discipline and desire to make 147. |

I think they're good friends. But if they're willing to get in the ring, sure, why not? They're both latin stars, no problem selling the fight. JMM targets the big fishes only. Pac's been done and dusted. Floyd rematch seems pointless and boring. Who's the next PPV star? Cotto.

No interest in Marquez vs. Cotto...
But... If Mayweather goes straight to Canelo, we could do a lot worse then Marquez vs. Guerrero. |

WHen are you fools ever going to learn weight only makes a difference when two fighters are even in the skills dept(see Pac/Margarito Jones/Ruiz etc). JMM's accurate counter punches would find easier targets than they did against Pac. Expect for Cotto to start retreating around the usual 6 rounds. |

Trout is certainly beatable and I believe Cotto can improve on his performance. The question is whether a rematch is even worth it since he doesn't need to beat Trout to get the Canelo fight.
