Default Pick out interesting tune ups for Marquez and Pacquiao

Just if they decided to fight a fifth fight but fight softer fights first, both ten rounders, who would you like to see Pac and Marquez in with?

No time for tune-ups at this stage of their careers.

Pacquiao Vs. Rios

Marquez Vs. Bradley (underrated power, but still featherfisted)

Two big fights there man.

I was thinking, for Marquez...how about Morales?

Should be easy enough on paper, lots of money to made?

Not moral?

JMM/Malinaggi might be a decent scrap.

Smokin' Joe,

Classy avatar. I'm seeing lots of Pac KO'd avatars. You're one of the few keeping it classy. TBH, I would probably be a dick about it, too, but only for a week or so because I'm a Dinamita fan against anyone other than Pac.

I was thinking more along the lines of Marquez-Morales/Pacquiao-Nate Campbell

Well, big fights, yes. But I think if Pac's chin isn't gone, he'd smoke Rios. Stylistic advantage of the highest order. And it would give him a lot of confidence back.

And a Bradley fight - well, the greatest danger I think is just a fight-ending headbutt.

Thanks, thought it was fitting. I didn't enjoy seeing Pac down like that, he's a likable little fella. Some of the photoshops being posted are quite tasteless, just my opinion.

When you said 'softer fights' you weren't kidding.

Shouldn't Pacquiao be worried about his health now?

Pacquiao vs. Senchenko (they have the "we both knocked out Hatton" angle common...plus Senchenko is a fair technician - no Marquez, but he was known in the Ukraine for a long time as "mini-Volodymyr K...minus the power")

Marquez vs. Melligen (aggressive Filipino southpaw...but not cut from a bolt of the same cloth as Pacquiao. What lends some intrigue is that he's a big strong welter, but the gulf in skill should make it a "safe" tuneup and chance to shine...)

pacquaio v malinaggi....paulie deserves a payday...pension money.....from mannys point of view its a good run out against a fast capable boxer without any risk of a ko happening, be good for confidence, and its a world title, which would be a nice 'up for grabs' trinket in pacquaio v marquez 5..........it would be another bit of spin too for the promotion of '5'..."since they met last time pacquaio has once again become world champion"

marquez v senchenko......mcgrain made a good point earlier on another thread i thought....marquez has a style that causes pacquaio problems, but yet can not be effective against a lesser opponent...he'd need to be careful on a tune up fight that its not a style of opponent that could beat him, based on that i think senchenko would be a resonable blend of safe opponent, doesnt bang too hard (despite what hattons ribs might say) and is a recent champ coming off a win.
