they represent more than 45% of the NRL u20s competition. they are domminant in the NRL. they are big, fast, powerful men.
its only a matter of time before one of them with the talent takes up boxing instead of the 2 rugby codes. it would have happened earlier had our immigration laws been different. but with so many talented kids now living here, its only a matter of time before we see a pacific island champ. |

Not on the band wagon, just call things how I see them and that was a classy performance.
Would also love to see Wilder and Jennings. Interesting how differently they have been handled when Wilder has so much more experience. |

Sam Lousi 6.5 sam kasiano 6'5 willie mason 6'5 curtis rona 6'4 tohu harris 6'4 james tamou 6'4 andrew fifita 6'4 sam hoare 6'4 petro 6'3 Taniela Lasalo 6'3 Ben Matulino, 6'3 Tautau Moga 6'3 Sam Tagataese, 6'3 Brad Takairangi, 6'3 Leilani Latu, 6'3 Jacob Loko 6'3 Mose Masoe 6'3 (maselino masoes, former middle champ nephew) Junior Moors 6'3 Peni Tagive, 6'3 Vaipuna Tia Kilifi, 6'3 Sisa Waqa, 6'3 Sione Lousi, 6'3 Moses Pangai, 6'3 Lote Tuqiri 6'3 feliti mateo 6'3 and theres even more at 6'2 so bloody many, i couldnt be bothered. out of that lot, plus the ones that dont quite make the NRL, you recon theres no potential world champs there? all the above would run 100m in under 12 seconds. some close to 10.5 all hand picked, established athletes. big, strong, and playing NRL. imagine the rugby union list as well. imagine the ones on the cusp of playing NRL. also the NSW cup or the Q cup? theres only 103,000 tongans in tonga. only 177,000 samoans in samoa. they do ok for such a small population....wouldnt you say? smokin joe was 5'11 mike tyson was 5'10. . |

In the case of Tupou, swingin he landed a overhand right which should of been awarded a KD but wasn't. knocked down by a uppercut which he could have got up from but didn't. He has a very limited skillset as well. Maybe if an Islander applied himself and trained as a boxer from youth they would make it. But boxing isn't as fun as football.
