JMM is one helluva fighter. He is an all time great. These days, they say you can't say Floyd's name without mentioning Manny's name. I think you can't mention Pacquiao's name without mentioning Juan Manuel Marquez' name. Floyd is the p4p king who stands alone at the top. Pacquiao is a fighter who is neck and neck with Marquez for 2nd place IMO. JMM is a living legend and when he retires, he will be missed.

To bad he doesnt have official win over Pac, he beat him at least once and never got decision.

My favorite Mexican fighter and personally in my opinion the best all around fighter from his country. I wont miss any of his fights

Good shout and very accurate.
I can remember when he was named as possible opponent for Scott Harrison,and I can actually REMEMBER when the now mythological 35k fight with Chris John happened.It certainly wasn't the big legend it is now.If I recall right it never even got much coverage in RING.

Congrats to the strategist Marquez. He's had a very long career and he never disappoints performance wise. He's very versatile, his discipline and dedication is next to perfect and the guy deserves to be in the spot light.
With that said, I don't mean to ruin Marquez appreciation parade, but two days into the KO of Manny, I can't but feel sad for him.
Manny, weather a fan of him or not, has been nothing but a warrior as well. The hype, matchmaking and mostly his fans have overshadowed the fact that Manny has worked hard as a fighter.
Hats off to Manny for a great show while it lasted.
