Well, he ain't Mr Personality. And I don't see him becoming a hit with US fans.
He'll have a big Canadian fanbase and if things keep going well, he'll have the respect of many mma purists. But yeah, he definitely has the potential to be great, and also the guy that fans will love to hate (except Canucks). |

His manager needs to have a word in his ear.
Whilst someone like GSP is universally loved in every MMA watching country, Rory has the potential to be universally hated in every MMA watching country(except Canada) and this will kill his endorsements, in addition to having crowds constantly booing him. But as a Fighter, I'm surprised how good he looked against BJ. I think he would beat Condit in a rematch and is now capable of beating GSP. |

dont care what hes about as long as he gives good fights, and I don't think you can be a Great Fighter without being a Champion first.
I saw the fight just a few minutes ago (which was brutal), but I was impressed. I believe he is the new breed, and fighters like BJ Penn, Fedor, and The Diaz Brothers don't have the skillset to become Champions in this day and age. For the same reasons Fedor avoided The Best in the World before crashing and burning is why Anderson Silva reigns supreme in 2012 at his advanced age. The Game don't wait

I think he was wearing a suit while getting his hands wrapped. Calling out Condit after the fight. I've got no problem with any of it. He's a fighter who now really believes in his ability and a persona is being developed off of that. Mayweather and many others have done the same. Hell, some people do so without having the same ability - Chael Sonnen

Without doubt he is super talented and It seems he has realized he needs something to stand out. Lets be honest before this whole metrosexual/nazi self promotional thing he's been using before the Penn fight he was a boring sod....well he still is really beneath all that nazi finery.
