Majority of fans believe Marquez won at least two, and that's before the KO. Also, Mayweather beat Marquez decisively. The number of times he's faced them is irrelevant. That just means he couldn't seal the deal or lost.

The ones in bold are shared opponents.

Then we have Clottey and Margarito. Mayweather would make mince-meat out of either one. No one puts Clottey in the ranks of the greats, so I don't know why he's considered such a great win for Pacquaio -- oh yeah, he's Pacquaio, that's why.

So that leaves Barrera and Morales.

You miss the point IF you only look at wins/losses.
(& you don't understand competition)

its not better he has some good names on it but mayweather beat del la hoya, hatton, mosely. not to mention he made all a majority of his fights at catch weights so naw his resume isnt that great its just padded.

Mayweather will be known as the greater fighter. If Pacquiao doesnt retire he'll end up on the canvas atleast a few more times

I was agreeing with you, friend. Did you see all of those world-beaters I just named? Any one of them would give Mayweather trouble. Panomdej Ohyuthanakorn would probably KO him with a jab; guy's a beast.

I don't even care for Mayweather, but I still admit he's the greatest boxer of his era.
Pacquiao has also fought almost 20 more times with no amateur career, his amateur career are those fights you mention...you clearly have an agenda so...

I know. Against those "world-beaters" I just listed.

No, that'd be his professional career. You can't just create an amateur career for him. Besides, Floyd's amateur opponents are probably better than all of the above.

Pacquiao fanboys have such poor arguments based on such unsound logic. I don't know why this myth has persisted as long as it has.

You talk about unsound logic and you write this? If you have 50% more fights because your career had a different path how does that count against you? LOL

Floyd's resume at Welterweight is an absolute joke considering how long he's fought in the division. He has a great resume at 130.

Because it was his decision to fight 38 tomato cans instead of fighting good opponents?
