Marquez only set one goal against Pacquiao, that was the knockout. Nothing was lucky as THIS is what Marquez does, as a defensive counter puncher. His big counter punches are the reason why he has 40 KO's in his 55 wins. He's not stupid, he knows he doesn't have the speed that he used to either. He already arguably outboxed Manny three times, his camp said this was no longer the aim anymore.

If they had a fight again, a KO for Marquez is highly likely. I'm just not sure if Manny can ever escape it anymore now that Marquez has turned his attention to his strength based counter punching.

Spot on, the first knockdown should have been a warning for Pac though, but he did not heed it.

I watched this a few weeks ago and thought it was a beautiful knockdown yet somehow I completely forgot about this when it happened against Pacquiao.
