Lucas Browne v Jason Gavern RESULT

Browne won TKO3

That's the fastest anyone has ever finished off Gavern. Wach needed 6 rounds, Boytsov and Ustinov needed 7 and even former shot putter, NFL-er and bench press ATG Leif Larsen needed 5 rounds.

Hopefully the Towers fight happens. I reckon Browne sparks him out early, his power is absolutely sickening. Browne is defo in the top 5 HWs in the world when you look at power alone.

That is a good result, i would of thought gavern would hang round longer then that.

Lucas has a devastating punch. Gavern jumped around with a big of a sense of humor for the first couple of knockdowns but the last had him wanting to be somewhere else.

Still questions about Lucas. I would like to see some sustained pressure and am concerned he is relying too much on one punch power which wont be enough on its own against the better HW's. His defense hasn't really been tested yet either. VERY handy to have the power he possesses though. Very quick for a big man too. Those long range punches landing were awesome...though not text book.

I think Lucas Browne would have stood a great chance against Richard Towers. But the way things turned out he has been able to take a slightly smaller step up and come away successful. Hope he gets a crack at Towers at a later date, or another suitable step up from where he left off here.

Thoughts in the brit forum is that Towers is going to be offered a fight with Price early in the new year and a loss to Browne would have nipped that in the bud. I guess we'll find out. Browne might have got rorted.

Rorted as in Towers pulled the pin on the Browne fight knowing a loss would have risked him the Price fight?

dont get excited, browne just beat a fighter on short notice who had lost 5 of his last 6 all except 1 by ko......

so, no, imagine what alexs bombs would do....

however, id rather see them help eachother along and spar. but im sure mr browne would be accomodated if he made the call...
