both good to hear. I give Abril a better chance style wise with his spoiling tactics and would be nice to see him get his shot that he deserves after the Rios robbery but I'd rather see Burns vs Broner first to silence everyone.

gamboa would be more significant and preferable to both.

Is Abril v Bogere not happening anymore? I actually liked that fight.

Broner took a huge step in the DeMarco fight. His confidence in his abilities are at an all time high and no one has the ability to match his skill set at 135. Burns doesn't hit hard enough to stop Broner and he is not going to outbox him or is strong enough to push him back like some fighters at 140 would be able to do.

Burns has never seen anyone close to Broner. Katsidis and Mitchell were nice wins, but they are not close to Broner.

Broner has been fighting for 4 years, Burns for 11. I sure hope his built up a better resume than a guy barely out of the prospect stage.

That was my first thought, Is he trying to prove he's better than rios by beating Abril?Broner would be the fav of course but don't be surprised if Abril gives him trouble like Ponce he's a solid boxer & took rios punches well when they landed.Glad abril getting a shot or a crack at him if he gets fight he deserves it win-lose.Interesting fight if burns fight can't be made.

Good point.
I reckon Abril would be a very tough fight for Burns,Broner or Vasquez, but his style will mean he'll always struggle to be a first name down on a promoter's list.
Think he'll be a bit like Paul Williams once was.

He needs to take his ass to 140 and start laying the groundwork for his destiny. Playtime is over.

El Nuevo herald in Miami is already talking Abril vs Broner
