I think Dirrells a talented fighter and could beat or at least gave Ward, Kessler and Froch tough fights but Dirrell vs Kessler and Froch I only really see happening in England or Danemark as they are the bigger names and Froch holds a belt.

I would be interested in a Ward vs Dirrell fight as Ward has pretty much beat all the best fighters at the weight and it would be an easy fight to make.

I do not believe Dirrell is a lost cause. If he could engage in a couple of tough-close fights and win, that might do wonders for his mind-set.

I actually clicked on this thread to critisize Dirrell, but the interview made a lot of sense. He is at least saying the right things.

Supposedly, he's fighting in January....

But then again, he was supposed to fight in December. Never got an opponent though and of course major networks didn't want him.

So he's saying January 19th...but there's no opponent named yet. And obviously, HBO is running there triple header on that date. So, maybe he fights an unknown again on Wealth TV? Who knows.

Can't blame him for refusing to travel. The last time he did, unfortunately for him it was England, he was subjected to WWE/UFC tactics only allowed to Froch. Not to forget that it also ended in a robbery.
