The maywether fight is there. He could have taken it after the judah fight or after peterson dropped out ( mayweather was going to be ringside for the rematch he said after the cotto fight) the thing with khan is he didnt want to rush into it because he doesnt need the payday. He would rather have fought fellow champs and contenders, gained valuable experience and gone into the fight with better odds. Its his own fault but it just shows how much he wanted to win and not just show up. It got as far as haymon and dchaffer had a deal in principle for the fight. Then garcia happened.

Voted no but stranger things have happened. Look at Victor Ortiz, you wouldn't have bet a penny on him been in there with Floyd only 2 years after quitting against Maidana

No, it won't happen full stop. I believe 2013 will be Mayweather's final year. He'll have two fights and then retire. Khan forever lost his chance when Garcia knocked him out.
Floyd only fights opponents who bring something to the table (e.g. money, interest) and all Khan brings right now is a lot of noise. If Khan beats Molina it won't prove ANYTHING. What's so special about beating a non-punching lightweight? Even if he does manage to get Garcia in a rematch and beat him (and that's a BIG if) I believe it'll be too late by then. Floyd's not getting any younger, he likely have a couple more paydays against cash cow fighters before hanging them up by the end of 2013, his legacy intact and secure. |

Ur a retard. Khan still brings alot of money and press to the table. His fights are shown all over the world and just look at how much media turned up to his presser yesterday. !!

Khan's chin is always going to let him down against the best.
Yes he has ability, bags of it, but his chin is weak and everyone knows it. His problem is that everyone he faces will be gunning for it, knowing that they only need to catch him and they have twelve rounds to do it in. As much as Khan may try to work on his defence and alter his style this won't help IMO. Khan loves a scrap, and that's why he's exciting, and he will always get drawn into a fight. Mayweather would beat him, I have always thought it, but i did think Khan would really push him and give a great account of himself, however in light of Khan's performances over the last eighteen months I now don't think it would be close. Khan's best bet against Mayweather would have been aggression, but now that looks like the very last thing he should try and do. |

However fighting him would prove absolutely nothing in my opinion. Mayweather would get little or no recognition for the win because people would just point to Khan's previous losses. The only way the fight would be meaningful would be if Khan could avenge the losses and get back on track; the problem is Mayweather will most likely be long gone by then. |

Any ability he has is completely nullified by his inability to follow a game plan, his inability to defend. His low intelligence is what ruins Khan, there's natural ability there but Khan too stupid to fulfil it. There've been great chinney fighters before, a chin doesn't stop someone for being great, being a fucking idiot does.
