Then I come back to reality when I think about the actual mechanics of the fight. Shane has always had conditioning problems and has never dealt well with jabs or movement...all strengths of Paulie. Sadly, I see the distinct possibility that Shane could lose a one-sided decision and tarnish his legacy even further. I hope the risk is worth it for him... |

^ I guess no one read that bit about the link in the article that said the WBA might not sanction the fight as for the title
**the alphabet orgs get a lot of flack for being corrupt, bias, etc, but if Mosley-Malignaggi is signed off .. I say the WBA steps in and refuses to sanction it as a title bout the IBF refused to sanction James Toney vs Wlad Klitschko citing Toney's limited ring activity Shane hasn't won a WW fight since 2009 |

For Shane's sake, I hope he doesn't take this fight, only because he'd probably win and then get brutalized and probably stopped for the first time in his career by this new and improved semi-slick, moderately skilled Maidana.

Man I like Paulie ( and Mosley in his prime ) but this is disgusting. Mosley is shot to pieces and should be easily UDd.
Would have way perferred a fairly close stylistic clash in Paulie-Alexander or maybe a Maidana fight where he'd either put on a boxing clinic or get shocked with a KO. |
