Well, I think I'll have to disagree with you here mate.

I think Starie, Thornberry and Eubank would definitely have beaten him, but I see the Pudwell fight as a pick em. I've recently watched Pudwell's poundings - The best of Tocker Pudwell, and although he had amazing gifts, I think I've seen a few flaws that maybe Roy could have exploited.

I also see Roy vs Branko Sobot as a 50/50, and I'd only give Roy a punchers chance against Veit and Salem.

A great fighter is someone who regularly turned in top performances against solid opposition.

An ATG is someone who makes the top ten of an original weight class

Calzaghe fits neither of those descriptions

The Collins fight was basically signed apparently but Collins collapsed in reaining for his comeback fight,which he was due to have before he fought Roy.


Why is it always assumed that it was Roy that ducked fighters.

No one ever assumes that maybe...just maybe a lot of these guys who were making good money doing their own thing,didnt want to get beat down by Roy and ruin their cash flow.

One of my friends used to go to sobots boxing club,he said when training started he would snort cocaine in the toillet then come out all pumped out
