I thought I would post up the video of Dana calling Arum a moron over staging Pacquiao/Marquez 4. Saw the story on a lot of site, but thought you would all appreciate the video over a written story. I think he is right, Manny should of fought Bradley, and it would of kept the Mayweather fight intriguing still. |

Dana White will trash boxing as much as possible no matter what, and this is news why (btw I am a huge UFC fan)? The fight between Pacman and Marquez was actually quite good, and now I want to see a 5th match. I never thought I would ever want to see any 2 guys fight for a 5th time, but this might be the first. These guys (pacman, marquez, terrible, barrera) come from a golden age of 122/126/130 lber's. They should not even be fighting at 140/147 in any way, shape, or form. Who gives a shit if they aren't fighting the mayweathers, bradley's, etc.. in divisions 20lbs higher than where they should be.

I as a boxing fan loved that Pac vs JMM 4 was happening and it didn't disappoint and while the fight did make some sense anything but a Bradley rematch is stupid from the Pac side of things. A Bradley fight would be a somewhat easy win if judged right and a fight vs jmm will never make Pac look great. Why put Pac in a fight that even if he was to win would look shitty or would have excuses why he won easier then before.
This fight unless Pac ko'd Marquez in similar fashion was just going to push a Mayweather fight further away. This is obvious proof that Bob never intended to see Pac vs May happen. He simply acted as if May never existed. |

Dana is right in saying Arum ruined the Pac/Mayweather fight.
Agreed^in hindsight The Bradley fight defo would have been better than JMM. But calling Arum the worst promoter ever is 100% bullshit. When Dana puts his champs Vs. say the champions of a rival company without taking ownership over said rival org fighter then he can speak. |

If you have a great fighter, you don't put him in against the one guy on earth who has his number more and more and more every time out hoping that this last fight will be different.
I agree with dana white, he screwed over Pacquiao (not necessarily about making the bradley fight, but about putting him in against a guy he stylistically sucks against). Hey Shane, let's fight Vernon Forrest four times. Hey Vernon Forrrest, let's fight Mayorga four times. Terrible match up for his fighter's legacy, I agree. Should have made the Mayweather fight, maybe Floyd doesn't have Pac's number. |

I love Dana White... atleast he matches up all the great fighters in the UFC! He also doesn't rob his super stars like Arum....

You're not a moron if you're able to orchestrate a symphony that materialized $10.8 million at the gate. Pac-JMM 4 was not a bad idea. It was decent mainly because Team Pac gave JMM a chance to finally get an official win. I was skeptical because I wasn't sure whether JMM was fighting for money or for glory. Seeing Marquez train extremely hard made it an acceptable fight for me. I didn't want to see another version of Pac-Mosley where the old guy wasn't determined and just wanted to get paid nicely before heading off into retirement.
Floyd-Pac was the match that needed to made, obviously. I definitely would've picked that over Pac-JMM4. But as a consolation prize I wanted Pac-Bradley 2. Looking back I suppose it doesn't matter which order Pac fights Tim and JMM. As long as he fights them both in the near future I'm fine with their decision. That said, it's still rather unacceptable for not giving us Floyd-Pac sooner. |

This is easy to say in hindsight. What if Pacquiao had won by KO (which looked like a decent possibility right up until Marquez introduced him to Jesus)?

Arum is all about the money.. It brought in a nice amount of money, and it's not a big knock on Pac to get KTFO by someone who's always had his number and many chances to KO him. I still believe a boxing lesson from Floyd would cause more harm to Pac than the JMM KO. Pac will fight Rios and everyone will buy because it will be action packed, and now people want to see if Pac's chin is gone. If he got completely out boxed by Floyd people would question his skill level, whereas a KO people can (ARE) call/calling it a lucky punch and finding excuses.
