Dempsey's got the kind of ferocity that like a Frazier or Marciano or Tyson, isn't going to engage Toney on his terms. Dempsey's no Glen Wolfe or Rahman. I like Toney but I wouldn't be keen on this matchup if I was in his corner.

Dempsey fought John Lester Johnson, got his ribs broke and his lilly white ass beat, and avoided black fighters like some sort of plague afterward, even when they were his number one contender for 5 years.

Toney can get a little overrated. Great talent and great skills, but CW and above he was nothing sensational. I think he lacks the discipline and is too stationary to outpoint Dempsey. He'll get outworked.
