back than when miguel used to be fast in combos he wouldve beat 147 marquez, as far for now. marquez is bulked up, got very good power even in one punch and his technic and counter punching ability is world level, therefore in a hard fought bout cotto loses.

I think Cotto at his best drops Jmm once or twice, but Jmm finds good use for his uppercut in this one. I also sense there would be broken ribs from both fighters. Uppercut and higher ring IQ save Marquez and stops Cotto after Cotto builds an early lead. Cotto has the faster hands so Jmm picks his shots more carefully and sits on his shots more. Cottos jab and own bodyshots would give Jmm some trouble, but Jmm is such a much better, cleaner puncher. Once Cotto feels his power he'll start backpedaling and harder for Jmm to finish, but Jmm would take his time. I think a stoppage or brutal ko, either way not good ending for Miguel.

Marquez easily, stylistically cotto may have a moment but ultimately in the 12 rounds, cotto would succumb to the body attack of Marquez. And counters
Marquez late stoppage or ud, cotto ain't bullying Marquez effectively without going trough Hell and he's not durable for the full 12. |
