Answer is eaSY no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HE IS NOT IN THE TOP 100

Floyd has the natural God given skills to be a great boxer but was cursed by being given the cojones of a gnat

See, now you're just trolling...

He's closer to #1 than he is #100, that's for sure.

Probably. He's in the top ten for sure. He ducked the following fighters, and they are listed in no particular order. Mind you, he could have fought these guys at the time they were the top challengers to his belt and other belts, but didn't.

Manny Pacquiao
Antonio Margarito
Paul Williams
Joshua Clottey

Now, he very well could have beat all of them, but the fact is that he didn't fight them for one reason or another. Some people are going to say that he fought for the linear belt, which was more important at the time. I call bullshit. Even though Carlos Baldomir was the champ at the time, Antonio Margarito was a lot more dangerous in my opinion and would have made for a better fight.
Then you have the Floyd boys claiming that he fought Gatti, Baldomir, and Judah during the time the other guys I mentioned were at the top.

In my opinion, the guys he avoided could have gone three and "0" against Gatti, Baldomir, and Judah. And, I think it is safe to say that Gatti, Baldomir, and Judah could have very well gone 0-4 against the other four guys.

Just my opinion.
did you mention Clottey?

That would be too easy Mayweather is NOT a FIGHTER!!!!! All he is is an incredibly talented street punk who enjoys beating on women.
Just imagine the ATG he could have been had his cojones matched his God Given talents

fights he's missed out on.

mosley in the late 90's.

freitas after beating casamayor.

kostya tszyu.

antonio margarito.

manny pacquiao - the big shitstain on his legacy.

canelo & martinez should be taken on.

guerrero is meaningless in terms of adding to his legacy.

The fourth post in this thread is a pic of Sweet Pea who stepped up to every challenger (and a lot more in his era) than Floyd. So a quick answer is no. I would put him a lot higher than a lot of rankings though. top 15-25 vs top 100.

But a few people could beat him:

duran at lightweight- the ultimate lightweight, brawler and pressurefighter. If Castillo I put a show on Mayweather before he went full defensive imagine would Duran would do at that weight *shudder*

srleonard at welter would outpoint if not knock him out. one point I never see in this fantasy match up is angles. Floyd's defense is a lot like his dad (although sharper) and the angle of the punch SRL threw for the first knockdown in that fight, and even against Benitez, was heavenly

I also think sweet pea could outpoint him. He was a lot more slicker and unorthodox. Had much tougher competition. Dodged no one. Was robbed and took it like a man, and better at hitting and mking his opponents miss.

Hearns would KO him below 154

SRR would ko him at Welter for sure and in my opinion TKO in Middle

Locche outpoint him

And all these guys had much better resumes than him too

A few people I wish he fought and sucks that he won't: Martinez, Maragarito, Pacquiao, Tszuyu (although to be fair people knew more about his family name than his name although he did have a title belt back in Tszuyu's prime)

Juan "fighting" Floyd & stepping up... Speaks for itself.
Wins & "L's" don't mean shit.
(Imagine Alexis Arguello, Hilmer Kinter, Jim Watt , Aaron Pryor, or Shawn O'Grady stepping up to Leonard in 1980.)
^Yup Juan did that shit!!!!

not yet, and probably will never be. He's old now and only fights once a year, but if he concentrated on securing his legacy he could have been. GOAT at 130lb division though. Right now most I read on here have him around 20-30, if he beats marquez again right after he destroyed pacquiao then that would probably secure him a few more steps on the atg ladder
