They were both legitimate p4p fighters at that weight class but i can't really see mayweather losing to either. maybe oscar makes it a closer fight but i think mayweather would edge it. Trinidad had immense power and was a good combination puncher, but i think he'd be too one dimensional for floyd, the only guys around that era who i feel would trouble floyd would be ike quartey, prime mosely and vernon forrest.

He would have beaten Trinidad.
I think Mayweather-Prime De La Hoya is a toss up. De La Hoya would be very clinical. He wouldn't get hit as much either. I think Mayweather would 'lose' but not really lose (compubox). Prime De La Hoya would probably give off the impression that he won, thus a 116-112 UD win for De La Hoya... or else another SD win for Mayweather. |

trinidad kos him or gets frustrated and loses UD, either way, wouldnt be a easy night for floyd, because tito was physicly a big strong man with long reach.

I actually think the ODH-Floyd would be most of the time a Floyd UD, and a Trinidad Fight would be a toss up; will he finish off Floyd with his power, or will the fustration catch up first? Trinidad had boxing skills, watch his earlier fights before he fell in love with his power.

He should beat Tito.
Old Oscar lost an 8-4 type fight with a prime Floyd. It makes sense a prime Oscar does better. It's gonna be a toss up either way and I'm not 100% sure who I'd favour. I'm gonna say Floyd by even closer decision 7-5 type. |

Im not sure, Tito always had problems with boxers (but with size advantages or long reaches) and with Hoya, i don't know but i do think prime mosley had a good chance of beating May, more than those two

Young Mosley a iron chin and dynamite in his hands would be kryptonite for Mayweather. I agree with PR Boxing.
I think prime Vernon Forest would beat Floyd in a wide UD. |

Different era of WW's. The elite guys were also big 147lbs. Quartey is also an intresting matchup.
I think Mayweather has the craft to beat Trinidad, and as is the concensus, splits most of the rounds with DLH, who would probably tire late and give Floyd the final 2/3 rounds for the win. |

ODLH would beat Mayweather but we all know Mayweather would not get in the ring with ODLH.

i would favor floyd vs trinidad. tito could be outboxed and floyd is a great boxer. titos only chance would be to catch floyd in an exchange, something floyd would avoid at all costs. 5 rounds to 7 for a floyd win, tito would be given some rds on pure agression and making the fight.
i would favor dlh in a clear decision vs floyd. dlh is also a great boxer and when he still had legs he could keep on top of anybody with less power than him. the oscar before trinidad was much more mobile and could trouble other great boxers much more than the oscar post trinidad. |
