Back in 2009, when the bout was first proposed, Mayweather agreed to fight as long as osdt was in place. Team Pacquiao refused. Last year, Mayweather publicly called out Pacquiao and very clearly stated that he wanted the fight. To me, it's obvious that Mayweather has always wanted this fight. If the fight didn't get made when it mattered most, Pacquiao's team is to blame in my opinion. I don't see the OSDT as an obstacle unless youre hiding something. How is Mayweather to blame for the fight not being made? Let's hear it, Pactards...

Agree especially now that team pac wants blood testing for next JMM fight which is by far the most pathetic hypocrite shit Ive seen ever in boxing yet pacturds give it a free pass. Its unforgivable.

I don't think Pac is ducking anyone as he retardedly wants to fight a guy who has his number FIVE times, like a moron, who he was lucky to escape with a win against at least on one occasion for sure.
The real question is who ducked who, Arum or Floyd? If Floyd really wanted the fight, he wouldn't make up bullshit osdt stuff. Arum doesn't want it, ever. |

if you are the best, you want to fight the best and don't make up regulations outside the standard ones on suspicions that railroad a career high pay day to prove once and for all who the best would be. Neither Floyd nor Arum wanted the fight.
You never heard about OSDT when Floyd was facing guys like Sharmba Mitchell or Ricky Hatton. |

Fighters aren't afraid of one another. They genuinely believe they can beat anyone.
The person who stopped the fight from happening was Bob Arum. Once one issue was resolved, immediately another one would rise, and every time the common factor was Bob Arum. The drug testing was a ridiculous hang up to begin with, it wasn't a big deal until Pac's team made it one, but then later on decided that it wasn't a big deal. ![]() Last year's debacle was just a flatout disgrace from Arum. Floyd calls out Pacquiao demanding more than a 50/50 split. Pacquiao openly agreed to it. When it came time to make it official, Pac refused anything less than 50/50. Arum, who already said Pac was going to fight May 5, the same day Mayweather called for, then suddenly pushed Pac's fight day back a month (to when Floyd was in jail) when he saw Floyd was very serious about making the fight happen. He also wanted to go and build some massive stadium in a short amount of time, stating that's why they couldn't fight on May 5, which was even more ridiculous seeing how they could make just as much money at the MGM. I could be wrong, but I believe common oponents between Maywather and Pacquiao have all said that Mayweather is actually much easier to negotiate with and more reasonable than Arum and Pac are. |
