kessler took his belt to oakland, perhaps ward could return the favour.?
I know he has beaten them before, but they are the number 2 and 3 in the fivision, so they are the most deserving. froch and kessler respectively. froch 2 and kessler 3. If ward wants to make some money, they are paid out in pound sterling or danske kroner ![]() he can of course keep his belt, stay in oakland and fight guys who are even less deserving of a shot, then the number 2 and 3 ranked fighters. Not only that, but also miss out on 2 big pay days. ward doesnt need to travel, but it does seem like a good move money wise and would build upon his already good ælegacy. I see him beating both kessler and froch again, but if he fights them in their backyard, the fight would be a bit closer imo. |

Steal Froch's IBF belt by facing the winner of Oosthuizen/Stevenson in the early summer, as Froch seems to be willing to vacate to rematch Kessler.

Ward needs to stay at 168 and give future rematches to Kessler and Froch. What would he achieve by moving up? Who could he fight that would challenge him? Tavoris Cloud would be the only challenge, maybe Campillo. One, or maybe two fights is not worth moving up and mess with the weight IMO. Going back in the future would get harder and the next weight would be 15 pouns north.
168 is the strongest division around the 160-175 pound range and there are still some nice paydays to secure. |

his career is basically irrelevant. But at least his inactivity is good for fans who don't want to be bored to tears suffering this guys tedious fights

Maybe he can just wait it out and fight the Kessler/Froch winner assuming that happens.
I wouldnt mind seeing him go up and fight at LHW to be honest. The swm division has been cleaned out. Hes beaten the 2nd,3rd and 4th ranked fighters in the division! |

There IS something he could do... And that's fight Sergio at a catch weight probably 164 max or something. That's the only thing he's got in his plate of any interest.
But I doubt he'd have the balls to face Sergio even at a catch weight because Ward has to have every advantage possible in his favour before he fight anyone. So he would probably duck Sergio |

You Ward haters are fucking ridiculous. Ward would school the shit out of Sergio, and Sergio knows it. That's why he's spent all of his time calling out fighters two weight classes below him. |
