I love Sanchez getting his title shot, you know he trained his ass off for months, he comes to the cage shouting his YES YES YES bullshit, does his ridiculous mean face and truly believes that this is his moment. And then BJ Penn knocks him senseless 10 seconds into the fight, and spends the next 4 rounds giving him maybe the worst sustained beatdown in UFC title-fight history.

![]() Prime Wand sure did go into beast mode there. Thought the Vovchanchyn fight wasn't bad, you always gotta appreciate a good upset. Hendo looked really good, though Gracie's performance was pretty ordinary. Or maybe Hendo just made him look ordinary. ![]() Aside from that, I thought the card was pretty mediocre. Lots of apparent mismatches, and the ex-sumo wrestler's fight was terrible. ![]()

Last night I watched Nate Diaz vs Donald Cerrone and to me it was obvious that Nate won every round massively and that was pretty much reflected in the scorecards, yet one judge gave Cerrone a round(probably the 2nd).
Nate was slightly less dominant in the 2nd round, than he was in the 1st & 3rd, but you would have to be a complete idiot to give that 2nd round to Cerrone. Now this obviously didn't matter in the end, but geez, sometimes the judging is absolutely fucked. |

Gomi v Pulver
Great display of hands from both guys, but Gomi's lead to the body were really punishing and took the win out of Lil Evil to the point where he was a dead man walking before the kod Best example of ''boxing'' in MMA anyone? |

What I loved was the tactics involved. It's rare of Jens to respect someones power but he clearly kept his hands up against Gomi. And those body shots were the story of the match

What an awful performance by Vitor vs Hearing.....Hearing was robbed!
Pelé should have won the fight with Matsui also. Nice sub by Igor. |

14 is a very good card. I think the key fight on it is Guy v Chuck. Guy laid the blue print pressing forward with relatively basic boxing combos as Chuck defense was pretty poor in regards to punches tbh. Difference being Randy could tie Chuck up better with his wrestling and test Chucks endurance
