Why would he fight GGG for not even 1/3 of the coin he will get fighting
Mundine - an opponent he really demolish at this time.

Geale fighting Mundine is avenging a loss - plus maximizing his coin,
plus building more of a fan base in his home country, where he'll make
most of his coin in the future through PPV's.

Opposed to fighting GGG for far less coin and ten times the risk.

Don't bother with them. They are a bunch of simpletons who haven't got a clue about what happened with the WBA or the fact that boxing nowdays is also a business.

Green being weight drained was just bullshit excuses coming from him, Green was not tight at the weight, he had been fighting there for years of his own choice and in world ttile challenges, and the 'weight drained' excuse was never mentioned in any way, shape or form in any of Green's prior bouts, during his Mundine preparation or even after the fight. Green admitted- "I was beaten by the better man on the night".

That was his tune until his comeback at "Dannyweight" when the weight drained excuse was thrown out there.

Oh, criticizing a fight for not facing the best in the division = simpleton? I thought it was called being a fan of the sport.

Geale went with the money and to avenge a loss against a credible past opponent.

I have no issue with it really, but it is what it is : He avoided a fight with Golovkin to take an easier match in his own country.

So no one cares about one of the most important fights for the 160 division?

And to be that he must beat Mundine
Imagine glass jaw Mundine vs Sergio or GGG Ottke KOd him imagine the massacre these two would do.
Until Geale beats Sergio he is not the best...

Mundine was actually winning that fight till a lucky shot by Ottke connected on the temple, he's still a legit threat as he is a "big MW".

One of the local betting agencies has installed Geale at $1.30 and the red hot favourite. With Mundine out at $3.90 and the draw paying a whopping $15.30.

The other agencies have Geale similarly around $1.30 and Mundine slightly shorter at around $3.50.

ESB's Aussie forum poll voted fairly similarly to the way the betting agencies see it.
