Before I would have to say Vargas by TKO as I saw a lot of his fights and I knew how talented he is. But seeing how versatile Norris was in his prime, as with the Brown rematch, he can box conservatively to protect his chin. He can also bang when he needs to.
I'd say Norris by points win. The prime Vargas still has a chin and was a bad-ass himself. |

Im not a Norris fan at all. I thought he was a bully who cherrypicked smaller fighter moving up.
With that said I think he is too talented for Vargas and the style works in his favor as well. I like Norris by ownage and probably mid to late stoppage. |

Vargas was pretty heavyhanded but IMO he didnt have the speed or the explosiveness to catch Norris with something he didnt see. Vargas was pretty strong to the body but I dont see that much of a puncher`s chance though Norris didnt have the best chin. Just a terrible matchup for Vargas.
