Jazza Dickens V Kid Galahad purse bids for English title

The Stewards decided to put out the above contest for purse bids to be submitted in accordance with the Terms and Conditions attached to the Board’s Head Office by 12.00noon on Wednesday, 13th February 2013, the contest to take place by the end of April 2013.

Anybody think it'll happen?

Nope, can't see either one of they're promoters risking this, it's far too early.

It won't happen Galahad won't risk it, who is Jazzas promoter again?

I thought it was Steve Wood but not sure.

Good fight if it happens & hopefully it will.

Jazza will probably lose but is young & a loss isnt the end of the world.

Good fight. We'll see how far Galahad can go by how he deals with Dickens because Jazza is going to be a big force domestically IMO.

A good litmus test for both I reckon

Read that as Stevie Winwood first time around. Won't happen as it's far to early for both of them.

For everyone saying the fight wont happen because its too early, remember that DeGale(10-0) vs Groves (12-0) had had even fewer fights than Jazza & Galahad.

Frampton & Quigg are above this level, the Walshes dont want to fight Galahad so why not fight Dickens?

Fingers crossed fat Mick makes this happen. Galahad keeps on calling out Frampton, it will look very bad if he avoids Jazza.

Degale and Groves had a longstanding rivalry and they were both being built up as potential stars by Sky, it was an easy sell and they made a shit load of money from it.

Has Dickens even had a televised pro fight? And Galahad has been on channel 5 a few times, but he still hasn't got a notable fan base.

I'd like to see it happen further down the line, maybe for the British title.

This is a fight I would love to see this year, personally think Jazza would beat him as I dont think kid has the power to keep him off him for 10 rounds, would be an interesting one although I dont see it happening yet maybe later on in the year for the british.
