really, only hooper can explain some of his issues. i would hope some scribe, mate, trainer, relative, role model, etc, sits him down and asks him some tough questions. some well thought out insightful questions that may lead daniel to look within himself and as to what are his motives for the occaisional er, tantrum.

ironically it may well be that another indigenous daniel that could help the kid.

aussie boxing needs him in a healthy, possitive state. a half successful train wreck naking national news is something we just dont need.
Damian you mean. But I see your line of thinking. In the words of my dad the boy needs a good kick up the arse.

2. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island people are the first people of Australia and therefore are in a different situation to migrants or the children of migrants who represent Australia. Also the Aboriginal and Torres Strait flags are officialy recognised as flags of Australia.

This does not excuse Hooper's behaviour with the police, I agree that he acts like a ****wit and is immature, however it's not a racial issue, more so an issue of being a ****wit, which crosses all races and socio-economic boundaries.
actually it was the negroid tasmanian race of people that were here first...it was the later indigenous tribes that drove them south....

That's just one theory on how Australia was populated and it's the one that was put forward by social Darwinists to justify colonisation. Probably not the most accurate or suitable argument to put forward. Also the same theory has the tribes in Queensland belonging to the same Tasmanian Negroid group, and Hooper's tribe is from Queensland.

At least you could argue the points that are raised, instead of hiding behind misinformed rhetoric that has a racial undertow.

I hope someone grabs hold of Hooper & gets him to knuckle down & have a real dig at the sport.........so much raw talent to waste.........I hope he's not the next Cliffy Samardin.........who for the record I believe could have gone all the way.....such a waste.

What a ridiculous, racist thread. He has a bad attitude because of his upbringing and surroundings, how you can connect a clean living person like Mundine to Hooper boggles my mind. That's like saying that Hitler is responsible for Arnold Schwarzenegger becoming a bodybuilder. Makes no goddamn sense.

I heard that Zakman started to big him up online, telling him that no one will be able to stop the H Train / H Bomb.
