ok just read up..creatine bascically gives you more energy to work out longer...so you should take creatine before lifting and whey protein after lifting....

You should take protein after lifting, not necessarily whey protein. Whey protein is a supplement. If you have your diet worked out you shouldn't really need it.

Also, there is such a thing as too much protein, to the point of having negative effects. Everything in moderation.
As suggested above, a simple google search can help you with your needs, and estimate what you currently get in regular food. Then figure out if (or how much) additional protein is necessary. Too much protein, and you risk hurting your health or your wallet. |

Doesn't matter when you take it as long as you meet your macros throughout the day. The brotein window myth was debunked quite some time ago.
