Default If Mundine wis the IBF belt.....

Does he stick around at middlweight ? The only scenario in which he defends the belt, in my opinion, is if Soliman beats Sturm which is highly unlikely. He won't unify. Martinez, Golovkin, Quillin...yeah right! Geale might have flaws but bloody hell he is game, he won't shy away from a challenge. If the Mundine fight didn't happen and shaw said to Geale that he had to face Golovkin, i believe he would of done so in a hearbeat. Now Golovkin would knock the **** out of Geale but Geale isn't intimadated by him.

Do Aussies really think the wash up ex Rugby player can beat Geale at this stage? I've been relatively impressed by Geale recently, Mundine hasn't impressed me for years, the mans so far over the hill.

We don't need to see Soliman 4 but it's always nice to see the "boxing prostitute" get a beating so I wouldn't complain. Chavez and Martinez have their rematch in the works, Quillin would be a good fight and Golovkin could get it too - people underestimate Choc, say what you want but he would be the best either Golovkin or Quillin would have faced and when he is on song they don't beat "the man".

Personally I want Mundine to go to 154 and handle cotto, trout and ginger before capping off his career with a rout on Mayweather before blowing up to whoop Green again for the haters.

Without a doubt, Daniel ducks no one.

Daniel will beat GGG when the time comes, GGG is made for him.

Only delusional ones.

Spot on. Mandy has a punchers chance in this at best.

20... WTF?

I suspect Sam could handle Mandy at this stage too, but **** me, no one wants to see this again.

You can't hand on heart say that Sam doesn't deserve a beating, Mundine hates him, not the fight I want to see but I won't complain. Who have Golovkin, Quillin and Canelo beat to suggest they could lace Mundine's boots? A shot to shit Mosley?

People put fighters on a pedestal because they fight on HBO

Mundine followers are rabid feral fanatics that have lost touch with reality a long time ago. They are small in number but loud in voice. The educated of the Australian boxing fans know Mundine has no chance.

Why? I don't have a problem with Sam.

Mandy certainly deserves a beating, and he'll get it on Jan 30.

That is what they say every time he fights...

As for educated fans, you should send some to the OZ forum as there is just a lot of uneducated Mundine haters.

Sam is a boxing prostitute.

Geale's style hasn't changed at all from the first fight, Mundine will teach him the abc's and the 123's of boxing (again).

You have talked yourself into a hole with this zealous Geale support. You have backed the loser. I always told you that Mundine would give Geale a shot when Geale had something he wanted, Mundine is a belt taker and he is going to walk through Geale to get another one.

True enough, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
He's more polished and composed though, and his defence is tighter.

Nope, Mandy has only gotten worse, lost speed, reflexes, movement.
In short, he's done.

Geale will school him.

More irony. You're a funny cunt 20a, that's why I like you.

Actually, Geale gave Mandy the shot.
Mandy would have no where to go had Geale not gave him this opportunity.
Geale has the world at his feet, and needed a keep busy fight, Mandy put his hand up.

Not a chance in hell, and you know it.

Unfortunately, money talks and Mundine gave Geale a shot at redemption because he wants the belt, to think anything else is delusional.

Geale needs to adapt to Mundine's style otherwise it will be the same story as last time. Mundine isn't done, his footwork is slower but his upper body movement and handspeed are more or less what they were. He has enough in the tank to break Australian hearts at least one more time.

I think it will be Mundine via KO, he wants to make a statement.

I seriously can't wait until the fight

Are you giving us a lesson in irony today?

Geale adapted just fine last time, it'll be even easier for him now.

Who did Mundine beat to earn a shot at Ottke ? Or the vacant title against Echols even, who did he beat ? Mundine has not been relevant for a long time and its scary to think what a fighter of Golovkin's ability married with his power would do to him. Sox is delusional if he thinks Geale boxes circles around Golovkin. He already handled Geale easily in the vests. He can do it both ways, decision him or put him to sleep, all mood dependant really

Probably not unless theirs a rematch clause. He will dump the title and say he is going for a 154 title to become the pioneer. Or take a optional defence and retire. Just a hunch I have.
