Seems an airtight system. I dont agree with it but I do like it so well played.

As a side issue did you ever nail down the legitimacy of Holmes title reign?
I sure did.

Holmes never faced the next best when the throne was empty. He never faced the Ring-ranked #1 contender during his reign. He's another example of the premeire heavyweight of his time who failed to do what had to be done to take the throne. And though I haven't thoroughly researched the whys and the wherefores, something tells me that Don King is to blame. And so isn't Holmes for allowing that cad to live in his ear.

This, mind you, is according to my own historical research. It is not the position of the Transnational Boxing Rankings Board, which looks ahead.

I figured you might say that.

Yeah I know the board is more about ranking than your work I was just curious as always

The rankings have been updated, with changes in the SMW, Jr. Bantam, Jr. Fly, and Strawweight divisions.

I tend to agree about Holmes. And he sufferes historically for me because of it. At least Wlad has the excuse of the number 2 guy being his brother...

I kinda like that you had a guess rather than just leathered straight over to Boxrec.

Caballero's exit for inactivity makes way for one of the new breed.

yeah sometimes I like to make my posts more genuine by going off my own actual knowledge as opposed to scouringboxrec. Makes me look silly sometimes when I make little mistakes or say things like "I forget his name now" especially when the answer is only a click away but it feels better posting like that I think

how much do you think Caballero has left?

Possibly nothing. That's three in a row he's tossed. He needs a ten-rounder now I guess so he can find out for himself, but he's shat off one of the useless straps, almost every ranking out there and any interest the public had.

I agree and it's crazy because after losing to litzau noone bothered about him and he worked his way back only to squander it.

I gotta conclude he's taking hits in the gym and doesn't have it any more.

Agree, but I hope he steps out again. I think he will just for cash, hard to retire on no notice.
